2nd flight was canceled; 3rd flight was delayed until Friday. I stayed at the Airport BW the whole time; I had great meals three times a day (breakfast buffet with different items every day and always an omelet bar, lunch buffet with different daily international or local themes, and dinner off the menu that was amazing. 2 pools, pool bar, lots of open green spaces to kick the footy ball around, lobby bar with television to watch the Euro 2024 tourney.
By Day 3, the servers knew exactly which table we liked and—no joke—they memorized our drink orders. Beer for some, wine or rum for others, and sparkling water for me — always delivered with a smile and zero hesitation. It was that kind of place.
Yes, we were stuck. But if you’re stuck somewhere, this is the place to do it.
